I found myself in an odd place in life. I decided I would go into construction and it has been a very good choice for me.
What is your favorite aspect of building/office work?
I have found my true passion is the shop work. I really enjoy building the “pretty “ for jobs.
I really enjoy working directly with clients and putting their vision into reality.
What is your favorite activity/hobby outside of work?
Poker
What is the best piece of advice you've received in or outside of work that you live by?
Construction is really two things. Quality Control and common sense. That changed my perspective on how I hire employees and manage others.

Hello, I am Carter Bourkland at Webster Construction I have lived in Idaho my whole life, I love the community here, and have always wanted to stay here. I have been with Webster for just over 5 years. I got into construction because I have always felt the need to create beautiful things. I love going out and seeing the stunning scenery here in idaho whether it is on foot, snowboard, dirt bike, boat or snowmobile. Through my life many people have been amazing role models, although the best advice I have received is not to focus on everything you can’t change but instead focus on where you can make improvements, whether it’s with yourself your situation or your employment. This has helped to motivate me to constantly see the good side and advance from there.
